Little Laurel Clay

Bill Dale began working with clay at Penland School of Crafts in 1969.  Drawn to the techniques of hand building, he eventually concentrated on large coiled vessels that are smoke fired in sawdust.  More recently, he has developed a line of colorful handmade tiles.  His work is in both public and private collections.
